Robin Chester Torch

is a speech and language pathologist with 25 years experience in clinics and schools. Robin received her Masters degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She began at the Chicago Department of Health as the SLP in a pediatric clinic on the Near North side. She then went to work for a non-public school in Evanston. During the 13 years she spent there she developed and implemented both AAC and AT programs for both the school and adjoining adult workshop. Robin concurrently earned her EI certification and added early intervention with 0-3 year olds to her case load. She is PROMPT certified (PROMPT is an articulation therapy protocol). Robin specializes in autism spectrum disorders, treatment of children with AAC systems, dyspraxia, oral motor dysfunction, and other speech and language disorders.
