Sheila Poteshman OTR/L

is a pediatric occupational therapist with 25 years of experience. She has worked in a variety of pediatric therapy settings. At Northwestern Prentice Women’s Hospital, Sheila worked in the neonatal ICU and the developmental clinic. Sheila has worked in both inpatient and outpatient units at the University of Illinois Hospital, Michael Reese Medical Center,and Cuneo-Columbus Hospitals, where she collaborated with medical staff to develop an outpatient follow up clinic. Sheila has also worked in both public and private school settings. She is certified in Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental treatment of Young Children and Babies and Listening Therapy. Sheila specializes in working with children with sensory processing dysfunction, neuromotor problems and pervasive developmental disabilities. Sheila has been in private practice for over 20 years.
