is a speech-language pathologist who received her Masters degree from Northwestern University with a specialization in neurological disorders. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in the Palatine School District, primarily serving children with autism and severe disabilities. She also served on the District’s Assistive Technology Team. Alissa has always maintained a private practice. She specializes in treatment and evaluation of children and adolescents with AAC systems, articulation difficulties, dyspraxia, expressive and receptive language disorders, auditory processing difficulties, and sensory integration dysfunction.
